What You ll Do: - Evaluate medical problems of adult patients in Gastroenterology/Internal Medicine settings
- Request consultations with other specialties as needed
- Provide patient education on preventive care and treatment options
- Document medical evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes accurately in EPIC
- Facilitate referrals for complex or serious diagnostic cases
- Prescribe and monitor medications, including emergency interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver patient-centered care
What You Need: - NY State License and Board Certification in Gastroenterology
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years recent experience in Gastroenterology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle adult medical care
