OBGYN Physician Locums Job in South Carolina
Our client is seeking OB/GYN physicians for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity offering a combination of outpatient clinic and clinic call. Coverage options may be separated based on provider availability and interest.
Details of Assignment :
Ongoing coverage with continuity strongly preferred
Seeking 2 OB/GYNs in clinic each week
Monday Friday clinic schedule
Prefer physicians who can cover full weeks and at least 2 weeks per month
Clinic Volume: Approximately patients per day
Dedicated MA and Nurse for each physician
3 ultrasound rooms with ultrasound tech support
IUD insertions expected
Sporadic OB Hospitalist coverage may also be available
Current rotation is 1:6, with a goal of moving to 1:8 with additional locums
Call rotates every 24 hours
On call days, physicians cover Labor & Delivery rather than clinic
Approximately 6 deliveries per call day
NP provides morning L&D rounds and assists with discharges
