We are seeking a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a locum tenens position near Columbia, TN. This role is focused on inpatient care with call-only responsibilities. The position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled OB/GYN professional interested in a temporary assignment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inpatient Care: Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care in an inpatient setting.
- Call Coverage: Be available for 24-hour call coverage, handling admissions, consultations, and patient care as needed.
- Admissions: Manage admissions and oversee patient care in the hospital environment.
- Rounding: Responsible for rounding on nursery patients as required.
Required Skills and Procedures:
- OB/GYN Expertise: Deliver routine obstetric and gynecological care, including handling various procedures and emergency situations.
- Patient Volume: Manage approximately 2 patients per shift.
- Procedures: Perform typical OB/GYN procedures, with a focus on inpatient care.
Certification and Licensing:
- Board Certification: Required in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Fellowship training preferred but not mandatory.
- State License: Must hold an active Tennessee medical license.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 7 days.
- EMR Systems: Familiarity with eCW and MedHost is preferred.
