Job Responsibilities- Provide coverage and handle urological emergencies and surgeries- Participate in rounds and manage inpatient consultations- Perform core procedures such as vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate and ureteroscopy procedures- Oversee and provide direction for NP/PA new staff members- Collaborate with a support team of MAs, CSA, RN, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology- Active PA License or IMLC LOQ required- DEA certification required- At least 1 year of urology experience, new grads considered
Working Hours- 24-hour call coverage from July 13th to 17th or 20th, and September 21st to 27th- Involves callbacks ranging from 2-6 hours per day
Skills- Proficiency in robotic surgery and various urological procedures- Experience in using EPIC EMR system- Strong communication and supervisory skills for working with support staff- Ability to manage and perform under pressure in a high-trauma setting
