Job description

  • Full-time inpatient psychiatrist
  • Consultation/liaison for adult and adolescent ER and inpatients.
  • Manage patients in Behavioral Intervention Support Program (BISP) in the ER.
  • 24-hour coverage, 7x7 schedule or possible 14x14 schedule
  • Multidisciplinary team: nurses, social workers (24 hr coverage in the ER), therapists.
  • Teaching: psychiatry residents and medical students; participate in program administration, lectures, and faculty meetings.
  • Lead quality improvement for psych services.
  • $300K+ salary, W-2, health/dental/vision/retirement.
  • $60K sign-on bonus, $20K relocation, PSLF-qualified, student loan principal repayment support.
  • Board certified/eligible psychiatry, California license required.
  • Vibrant college town of 100,000 about 1.5 hrs north of Sacramento voted Americas Place to Live by Forbes magazine. You will enjoy 4 mild seasons and have easy access to Lake Tahoe, Mt.
