Job description

Locums - A health system in suburban Maryland is seeking an Internal Medicine physician for ongoing coverage.

  • Board Certified Internal Medicine physician
  • Start October 2026 for ongoing need
  • Monday Friday, two half-day sessions daily (8 AM 12:30 PM and 1 PM 5 PM); approximately 20 shifts/month
  • Outpatient ambulatory clinic
  • Approx. patients per half-day session
  • 100% adult population
  • Duties include precepting Internal Medicine residents
  • Maryland state license, DEA, Maryland CSR, BLS required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • EMR: EPIC (proficiency required)
  • Starting rate $180/hr; lodging, mileage, travel, malpractice provided
