Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for flexible locum tenens coverage in Iowa.

• Schedule: 4 12 shifts per month
• Shifts: 6:30 AM 2:30 PM, 1:30 PM 10:30 PM, or 9:30 PM 6:30 AM
• EMR: EPIC Dictation: Dragon No scribes
• Annual Volume: Approximately 22,000 visits
• Routine ER duties and codes; limited trauma responsibilities
• APP Support: hours per day
• Easy transfer center process

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Active Iowa medical license and DEA
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Actively practicing EM within the past 12 months or completed an EM residency within the past 6 months
• Must pass credentialing and background check; license suspensions and certain DUI history may be disqualifying
