What You ll Do
- Provide outpatient OB/GYN care including routine exams, prenatal visits, and postpartum follow-ups
- Perform in-clinic ultrasound procedures
- Handle emergency GYN surgeries and consults from the emergency department
- Manage a patient volume of patients per day in a busy clinic setting
- Participate in postpartum care and deliveries (approximately 2 per day)
- Collaborate with hospital staff and other providers to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Support hospital obstetric services, including call shifts and inpatient care
What You Need
- Active medical license in South Carolina or ability to obtain one
- Experience in outpatient OB/GYN practice (preferred, 1+ year)
- Strong clinical skills in women's health, prenatal, and postpartum care
- Ability to work alongside a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to cover scheduled shifts starting October and throughout the year
About the Assignment
Join a well-established OB/GYN department at a hospital with a 116-bed capacity and a Level 2 nursery. The facility handles approximately 540 deliveries annually, with daily patient volumes averaging 2 obstetric patients. The hospital provides ultrasound services and handles complex GYN cases, including emergency surgeries. This position offers a balanced mix of clinic and hospital responsibilities, providing excellent variety in your day-to-day medical practice.
