Seeking an experienced OB/GYN Hospitalist for call-only locum coverage in La Porte, Indiana.
AVAILABILITY & SCHEDULING
- Call-only coverage
- Beeper call
- Call Ratio: 1:1
- Call Response Time: 30 minutes
- Average Patient Volume: Approximately 10 patients per shift
Current Available Dates:
- November 02, 2026 at 7:00 AM - December 30, 2026 at 7:00 AM
- Additional shift availability expected in 2027
REQUIRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
- Active Indiana Medical License - Required
- Indiana CSR - Required
- Indiana DEA - Required
- Board Certified in OB/GYN - Required
- BLS - Required
- ACLS - Required
- PALS - Required
- Clean NPDB / Data Bank - Required
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- OB/GYN Hospitalist experience
- Experience with admissions
- Comfortable managing assigned and unassigned patients
- Experience providing call-only coverage
PRACTICE DETAILS
- Practice Setting: Inpatient Hospitalist
- Department Size: 85 beds
- EMR: Cerner
CREDENTIALING REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for temporary privileges, providers must have:
- Active Indiana medical license
- Indiana CSR
- Indiana DEA
- Adequate case logs for review
KEY CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Must have:
- Board certification in OB/GYN
- Active IN license, CSR, and DEA
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Adequate case logs
- OB/GYN Hospitalist experience
- Ability to respond within 30 minutes
- Availability for call-only coverage
