COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Overtime: Daily OT after 12 hours and weekly OT after 168 hours, differential applied

REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Emergency department procedures appropriate for physician-level emergency medicine coverage
JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active state medical license, CDS, and DEA with Iowa address required
• Board: Board Certified in ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM (or osteopathic equivalents)
• DEA: Active DEA required
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required
• Experience: Residency trained in the specialty certified in
• Other Qualifications: CME documentation and case logs from the past two years required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care for patients of all ages
• Manage acute and emergent conditions in a Level II trauma center
• Perform emergency procedures and coordinate admissions as required
• Collaborate with hospitalist medicine and consulting services
• Document all patient encounters accurately in Cerner EMR
