What You ll Do
- Assess and treat patients in the emergency department, including adults and children
- Perform triage, stabilization, and emergency procedures
- Make rapid clinical decisions in high-pressure situations
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists to deliver high-quality care
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Cover provider in triage during high volume periods
- Support the emergency team with standard ED procedures and patient management
What You Need
Required: - Valid license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Michigan
- State of Michigan controlled substance license
- DEA registration
- BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications
- Experience working in an emergency department setting with both adults and children
Preferred: - Prior experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
