Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: ASAP - Ongoing; Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Job Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
- Types of Cases:
- Low and high risk pregnancy
- FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
- OB Ultrasounds - Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic)
- Amniocentesis
- Routine deliveries - Vaginal, Low forceps, Decision-making for C-section
- Complicated deliveries - C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBACs
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Approximately 1,500 deliveries per year
- Up to 25 patients per shift; 12-bed department
- Admissions required
- Call Details: Beeper call for assigned patients; 30-minute response time required; 1:1 call ratio; 100% call back; 0-3 phone consults, 0-3 patients seen, 0-3 admissions per call
- EMR System: Athena / Medhost
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Licensure: Must be licensed in New Mexico only (IMLC not accepted); facility will not reimburse for licensing costs; estimated credentialing timeframe: 30 days; hospital/surgery center privileges required (temporary privileges available)
