Job description

Providence Alaska Medical Group is seeking a full-time physician associate to join its Primary Care team in Anchorage, Alaska. This role involves providing both direct and indirect patient care, including same-day acute care visits and daily in-basket management through phone, email, and the patient portal.


As part of the state's largest hospital, you will have access to a supportive, multidisciplinary provider team while delivering full-spectrum outpatient primary care to a diverse patient population.   • Monday to Friday clinic schedule
  • Outpatient care only - no call coverage

Where You'll Work


With 401 beds, more than 1,100 nurses and more than 800 doctors, Providence Alaska Medical Center is the largest and most comprehensive hospital in the state and the only one with a dedicated Children's Hospital. A nationally recognized Level II trauma center, this hospital features heart and cancer centers, Alaska's largest emergency department with LifeMed Alaska air ambulance transport, full diagnostic, rehabilitation and surgical services, and inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance abuse recovery services for adults and children.
