Neurology Physician

An expanding neuroscience program in Eastern Connecticut, 45 minutes southeast of Hartford, is seeking a BC/BE Neuromuscular Neurologist to join a multidisciplinary team in a brand-new, state-of-the-art Neuroscience Center. This is an excellent opportunity to build a specialized practice while contributing to clinical research, education, and the development of innovative neuromuscular services.

Position Highlights:

• Dedicated neuromuscular practice treating neuropathy, myasthenia gravis, ALS, and more
• Perform EMG/NCS studies
• Help develop a neuromuscular ultrasound service line
• Participate in NCS technician training
• Collaborate on neuromuscular quality, research, and innovation initiatives
• Clinical research opportunities
• Structured mentorship for physicians new to the institute
• Brand-new comprehensive Neuroscience Center
• Multidisciplinary care spanning neurology, neurosurgery, pain management, PM&R, headache, epilepsy, movement disorders, stroke, and more
• Onsite infusion services, EEG, advanced imaging, and nurse navigation
• Academic affiliation with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Quinnipiac University

Qualifications:

• MD/DO degree
• BC/BE in Neurology
• Completion of Neurology residency and Neuromuscular fellowship
• Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure
