Clinical Responsibilities:
The physician will provide outpatient Family Medicine services to a diverse, all-age patient population.
No specific procedures are required. Experience with the following procedures is preferred:
- Skin excisions
- Punch biopsies
- Nexplanon insertion/removal
- IUD procedures
- Cryotherapy
- Toenail evulsions
Inpatient experience is not required, and rounding, admissions, and inpatient coverage are not part of the routine schedule.
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Family Medicine
- Alaska medical license required; candidates who are not currently licensed may be considered, though an active Alaska license is highly preferred for the anticipated start
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Recent clinical experience
- Epic charting experience required
- Candidate must demonstrate involvement as an admitting physician for at least 20 patients within the past 2 years
- Must be able to meet applicable credentialing and privileging requirements
