Urgent Care Physician

Winnebago Comprehensive Healthcare System is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine physician to provide locum coverage. This facility is a 13-bed inpatient hospital with an active emergency department. No obstetric or operative services are provided. Physicians will cover scheduled day shifts, with some flexibility for limited night shifts if desired.

• Start Date: October 20, 2025

• Duration: Ongoing assignment

• Schedule: shifts per month

• Shift Structure: Primarily day shifts (10 hours: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM); optional limited night coverage

• EMR: Meditech

• Location: Winnebago, NE

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited U.S. institution, or equivalent foreign medical degree with ECFMG certification.
  

• Completion of an ABMS-recognized residency in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice.

• Experienced or trained in ED

• Active and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or Territory

• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS.
