Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Opportunity Scottsbluff, Nebraska About the Position
An established, physician-led regional healthcare system in western Nebraska is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its growing Wound Care Clinic . This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving healing outcomes and enhancing patients' quality of life.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate patients through comprehensive histories and physical examinations
- Assess and treat acute and chronic wounds using evidence-based practices
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing wound management
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate
- Prescribe medications and therapies within your scope of practice
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and families on wound prevention, treatment, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant program
- Current national board certification
- Eligible for or licensed as an APRN or PA in the State of Nebraska
- Previous wound care or relevant clinical experience is preferred, but motivated candidates with applicable experience are encouraged to apply
