Job Summary
- The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will provide quality health care and treatment to patients. Health care includes: health promotions; prevention of disease and disability; identification of health problems; management of health problems; and referral with communication to the patient's primary care provider. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will practice medicine within the scope of their licensure and if applicable, under the Supervision of a Physician.
Requirements
- Graduation from a NLN accredited Nurse Practitioner program, MSN preferred. Certification by an approved organization according to the Maine State Board of Nursing. Current Maine State Licensure.
- OR Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant's program. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Current Maine State Licensure.
- Requires current CPR and ACLS.
