We re currently seeking a Physician Assistant - Surgery Cardiothoracic to join our amazing team.
Details of the Opening:
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- Contract Length: 3-6 months, ongoing
- Outpatient/Hospital
- Schedule: Night shift 6p-6:30a, no call. no OR coverage, At least 2 shifts needed per week
- Support staff: CTS surgery team. They will be the solo PA on site during the night shift
- Procedures: PA will perform these standardized procedures in these areas: Critical Care Dept, ER, Telemetry Units, Med-surg units and outpatient clinic. Must be able to perform all simple procedures as well as some advanced procedures such as removal of wound pump, removal of pacing wire, etc.
- Patients per day: 15-25. Varies on day
- Patient population: Adults, no Peds
- EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- Board Certification: Required
- License Required: CA license required
- DEA: Required
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
- Minimum Experience Required: 1-2 years Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days. Expedited will be considered on an as needed basis.
