PM&R Medical Director Opportunity - Clarksville, INPosition Overview

  • Role: Medical Director - Inpatient Rehab Facility
  • Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
  • Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation
  • Group Size on Site: 4 Physicians
  • Shared Call: 1:4
  • Patient Volume: 18-20 patients per day
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Inpatient rehab medical management
  • Oversight of facility operations as Medical Director
  • Shared call coverage with group
  • Compliance program in place
  • EMR/Billing system: MD Coder (for charge entry, coding compliance, and billing)
Compensation & BenefitsEmployed (W2) Providers
  • Guaranteed Salary: $180,000/year
  • Medical Director Salary: Guaranteed $200,000/year
  • Production Bonus: Eligible for 70% of billings above base
  • Typical total compensation: $230,000 - $425,000+ (salary + production bonus)
  • Benefits:
    • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
    • Malpractice insurance with tail coverage
Independent Contractor (1099)
  • Available for part-time providers
  • Contract directly with the hiring entity
License & Certification RequirementsRequired
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Physiatrist
