Average Daily Volume: 40-50 patients/day
Case Mix: Screening Mammography, Diagnostics, Image-Guided Procedures

EMR System: Cerner
Office Equipment Available: Change Health PACS (Sectra PACS by July)
Specialty Backup Available: Surgery and Oncology teams
Support Staff: RNs: 2, MAs: 1, Office Staff: 2

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Certified (Required)
Licenses: Licensed in MI
Certifications: BLS
Fellowship: Required
Experience: Fellowship trained in Breast Imaging
Other Qualifications: EMR proficiency (Cerner), PACS proficiency

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive on-site breast imaging coverage, including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI.
Perform and interpret image-guided procedures such as biopsies, localizations, and aspirations with precision.
Utilize BI-RADS classification effectively and ensure strict adherence to MQSA standards in all interpretations and reports.
Manage same-day diagnostic workups and communicate findings empathetically and clearly to patients.
Collaborate seamlessly with technologists, nurses, surgeons, and oncology teams to deliver integrated patient care.
