APP Role & Responsibilities•Evaluate and manage urology patients in an ambulatory setting. •Initiate patient care meetings with the healthcare team and revise the plan of care as needed. •Participate in total quality management initiatives to improve patient and system outcomes. •Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary care team. •APPs with additional interest in cardiology, endocrinology, or bariatric medicine may have opportunities to gain experience in these specialties. •Opportunity to learn from experienced mentors and progressively work more independently. •Opportunity to perform procedures with appropriate training and supervision. Qualifications•Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master's program preferred. •Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant or APRN in Connecticut. •Certified or eligible for certification as a Physician Assistant or nationally board-certified as an APRN. •Men's Health, Urology, or men's sexual dysfunction experience preferred.
