We have an immediate opening for a PA/NP to provide support in the CVICU at UT Health Tyler. Below are the details of the position:
Position: PA/NP CVICU
Facility: UT Health Tyler
Schedule: 7 AM to 7 PM, 7 days a week
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing
Responsibilities:
- Rounding in the ICU
- Pre- and post-cardiac surgery care
- Managing patients coming off of ventilators
- Caring for patients recovering from open heart surgeries, VATS, and lung procedures
- Managing an average of 20-25 patients on the service at any time
Requirements:
- Active TX license
- Board Certified
- BLS & ACLS certification
