Clinical Psychologist Opening in MELocated in Bangor, MaineAbout the PositionA full-time Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) is sought to join a collaborative Developmental Psychology Assessment Services team in Bangor, Maine. This position offers the opportunity to provide psychological assessment and evidence-based treatment across inpatient and outpatient settings while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary behavioral health team.-Full-time employed position-Monday-Friday schedule-Choose from 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM-One weekend day every two months (not considered call)-No call responsibilities-Teaching and research opportunities availablePractice Highlights-Provide psychological consultation to pediatric inpatient interdisciplinary teams-Lead evidence-based group therapy for children and adolescents on inpatient psychiatric units-Conduct comprehensive psychological testing and diagnostic evaluations-Approximately 1-2 psychological evaluations/assessments per day-Opportunity to provide outpatient therapy and psychological evaluations based on interest-Administrative time built into the daily schedule-Work alongside psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, social workers, therapists, nursing staff, and occupational therapists-Supportive, highly collaborative behavioral health environment-Cerner electronic medical recordCompensation and Benefits-Annual base salary: $110,240-$128,960-$7,500 sign-on bonus-Relocation assistance up to $10,000-Up to $1,000 per month in educational loan repayment-$2,500 annual professional development allowance-30 days of paid time off annually-Comprehensive health and retirement benefits-Employer-matched retirement plan-Continuing education support-Flexible scheduling to promote work-life balanceCommunity HighlightsBangor offers a vibrant New England lifestyle with access to outdoor recreation, a welcoming community, and a rich cultural scene.-Affordable cost of living-Beautiful rivers, forests, and nearby mountains-Hiking, boating, skiing, and year-round outdoor recreation-Local restaurants, arts, music, and cultural events-Family-friendly neighborhoods and excellent schools-Convenient access to Acadia National Park and the Maine coast-Regional airport with easy travel connectionsQualifications-PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology-Training in evidence-based psychological treatments-Experience with psychological assessment and diagnostic testing-Eligible for Maine psychology licensure-Interest in working with pediatric through geriatric populations-Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills-Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based behavioral healthcare
