Locums Endocrinology Outpatient Clinic Scarborough, ME Why This Role
- Outpatient-only endocrinology practice
- No call, nights, or weekends
- Flexible 4x10 or 5x8 weekday schedule
- Six-month assignment with potential to extend to one year
- Established multidisciplinary endocrinology and diabetes team
Assignment Details- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Initial 6-month assignment with potential extension
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours
- Setting: Ambulatory Outpatient Endocrinology Clinic
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (4x10s) or flexible 5x8s
- Call: None
- Weekends: None
- Patient Volume: 16 Äì20 patients per day
- EMR: Epic
Clinical Details- Outpatient endocrinology and diabetes management
- New patient evaluations
- Hospital discharge follow-up visits
- Established patient follow-up care
- Comprehensive diabetes management
- Collaborative practice with 11 endocrinologists and 4 APPs
- Thyroid FNA experience welcomed but not required
- Onsite Certified Diabetes Educators providing diabetes education, pump training, and nutrition support
Requirements- Board Certified in Endocrinology
- Active Maine license or Active IMLC Letter of Qualification preferred (licensing candidates considered)
- Epic EMR experience
- Thyroid FNA experience preferred
- Two supervisor references and one peer reference from the past 12 months
- COVID and influenza vaccination
