What You ll Do

• Provide anesthesia care primarily during scheduled daytime hours
• Administer regional anesthesia and perform nerve blocks independently
• Manage anesthesia for obstetric patients and surgical cases
• Supervise up to 4 patients simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Respond to call shifts, covering a minimum of 2 calls per week, with additional availability optional
• Arrive within 30 minutes for on-call duties to ensure timely patient care
• Check in and out with the Unit Coordinator for proper documentation and flow

What You Need
Required:

• NY State Medical License
• AHA or RQI Certification
• Minimum 2 years of clinical anesthesia experience
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Proficiency in regional anesthesia practice and OB anesthesia
• Ability to perform blocks independently
• Comfortable supervising up to 4:1

Preferred:

• Experience with OB cases and supervising residents or Fellows is not accepted
