Assignment Details
• Start/end: Mid-December 2026/January 2027; ongoing
• Schedule: 14 hour beeper call shifts/month
• Coverage type: Inpatient call only
• Volume: TBD
• Setting: Inpatient; Level II trauma center; stroke certified
• Support: 1 RN, 3 MAs, 2 APPs and 5 office staff
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing: 90 days
Clinical Details
• Required scope: Adult general and trauma neurosurgery
• Required scope: VP shunt
• Required scope: Cervical, thoracic and lumbar spinal surgery with instrumentation
• Required scope: Cervical, thoracic and lumbar spinal surgery without instrumentation
• Required scope: ICP monitor placement
• Preferred scope: Tumor and neuroendocrine surgery
• Preferred scope: External traction
• Beeper call with 20-minute response time
Requirements
• Board certified in Neurological Surgery
• License: WA or IMLC; active licensure required
• ACLS and BLS
• Active DEA
Compensation
• Rate caps apply per facility
