Assignment Details
• Start/end: October 13 at 7am through October 16 at 7am
• Schedule: 24-hour call
• Coverage type: Beeper call for unassigned patients
• Volume: 0-3 consults/day; 0-2 ED visits/day; 0-2 surgeries/day
• Setting: Inpatient general Orthopaedic Surgery
• EMR: MediTech
• Credentialing: 5 days; temporary privileges available
Clinical Details
• Required scope: General Orthopaedic Surgery call coverage
• Typical cases: Wrist, ankle, and hip fractures; I&D; closed reductions and admissions
• Long-bone trauma is stabilized and transferred
• 20-minute response requirement while on call
Requirements
• Board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
• License: active NC license required
• Active NC DEA with NC address
• ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
Compensation
• Rate negotiable, open to your number
• Malpractice provided
• Onsite lodging provided; travel reimbursed
