Facility:This respected Michigan hospital is part of a prominent healthcare system known for excellence in patient care and innovative medical services. The facility operates as a Level II Trauma Center with a collaborative anesthesia team that serves a full patient demographic from pediatrics to geriatrics across multiple operating rooms with approximately 50 surgical cases daily.
Opportunity:Board Certified - Anesthesia
Job Details:• Supervised CRNA role focusing on general surgical cases with opportunities for neurosurgical procedures
• Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients
• Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedure
• Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical procedures
• Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical process
• Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
• Maintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op)
• Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia records
• Work 32-40 hours per week (8s or 10s) with either Monday or Friday availability required every week
• No on-call duties required - strictly scheduled shifts
• Work alongside team in multiple operating rooms with rotating assignments based on needs
• Respond to emergencies and provide airway management, including intubation if needed
• Must have Board Certified CRNA with active Michigan license
• Requires ACLS, BLS through AHA, PALS, and NBCRNA certifications
• Minimum 1 year CRNA experience required with no job gaps
• Clean background and self-query NPDB required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe 90-120 days
