What You ll Do
- Provide 24-hour in-house call coverage for urology patients
- Manage inpatient urology consults and perform rounding on new admissions and inpatients as needed
- Assist with common procedures such as kidney stone management, stent placement, hematuria management, and difficult catheter placements
- Respond promptly to call-ins within 20-minute onsite response time
- Document all call-back hours and clinical interactions accurately
- Collaborate with hospital staff for timely patient care and discharge planning
What You Need
- Valid Michigan medical license or eligible for licensure
- Board certification or eligibility in Urology
- 2+ years of relevant hospital or clinical urology experience preferred
- Ability to provide prompt onsite response and effective communication skills
- Willingness to work a 24-hour call schedule with occasional rounding and patient management
