AnesthesiologistLocation: Virginia
Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hour shifts required with 10 hour shifts preferred, Monday through Friday. No call. No weekends.

Position OverviewProvide anesthesiology coverage in a hospital setting in a medical direction model. This role includes a broad case mix and requires board certification as outlined in the order details.
Clinical ScopeMedical direction model with supervision ratio up to 1 to 4
Case mix includes general, neuro, orthopedics, obstetrics, and pediatrics
EMR: Epic
Responsibilities include pre anesthesia assessment, discussing anesthetic options and risks, induction, maintenance, emergence, physiologic monitoring, and clinical interventions as neededRequired Qualifications
MD or DO
Board certified in Anesthesiology
Active Virginia medical license required to present
Completion of an approved anesthesia residencyAdditional Requirements
Provider must reside more than 60 miles from the worksiteCredentialing
Estimated privileging timeframe is approximately 60 days
Accelerated privileges may be possible for clean and complete files as outlined in the order detailsTravel and Lodging
