Radiology Physician

Position: Interventional Radiologist Physician

Location: Syracuse VA Medical Center, Syracuse, NY

VA HOURS OF OPERATION/SCHEDULING:

The Syracuse VAMC Interventional Radiology department is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM to include partial on call during WHE hours. On-Call hours are from 4:30pm to 12:00am (midnight) weekdays, 8:00am 8:00pm weekends and holidays. (W.H.E. hours weekends, holidays, evenings)

Supplemental Clinical Coverage: The Contractor must make the contractor s physician(s) available for scheduled and unscheduled supplemental clinic coverage when the Syracuse VAMC Interventional Radiology Attending Physician is out for vacation and/or illness during clinical hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Off-hours Coverage: The Contractor must make the contractor s physician(s) available for on-call phone consultations during all hours when the Syracuse VAMC Interventional Radiology department is closed. The on-call phone consultations (including evenings, weekends and holidays) shall be covered by the contractor s physician(s).

When on call, the contractor s physician(s) must always be available for phone consultations with VA physicians.

Qualifications:

• License: The Contractor s physician(s) assigned by the Contractor to perform the services covered by this contract shall have a current license to practice medicine in New York State. All licenses held by the personnel working on this contract shall be full and unrestricted licenses.
• Board Certification: All contractor s physician(s) shall be Board Certified per the American Board of Radiology (). All continuing education courses required for maintaining certification must always be kept up to date.
• NPI/DEA and CME/CEU
