Hospitalist Physician

A leading academic medical center in Central Connecticut is seeking an experienced BE/BC OB/GYN Hospitalist to join its established team. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice in a high-acuity academic environment with extensive subspecialty support, teaching opportunities, and access to advanced maternal and neonatal care.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time OB/GYN Hospitalist opportunity
• 12-hour and 24-hour shifts available
• Provide L&D call coverage and inpatient support
• Care for inpatient OB/GYN patients
• OB/GYN consultations on the floor and in the Emergency Department
• Oversee residents, fellows, midwives, and APPs
• Participate in the OB Rapid Response Team
• Involvement in patient safety and quality committees
• Implement evidence-based medicine and quality initiatives
• Extensive subspecialty support, including MFM, Urogynecology, Gyn Oncology, and MIGS
• Level 1 Trauma Center
• Level 4 NICU
• Academic teaching environment with UConn OB/GYN residents
• Physician leadership and wellness resources

Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• 3+ years of attending experience
• Licensed or eligible for Connecticut medical licensure
