Job description

We are seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a weekend call locum opportunity in Pennsylvania.

Schedule

Weekend call coverage: Friday 5:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM
24-hour call shifts
Coverage needed 3 weekends per month
Start: May 2026 Ongoing

Clinical Details

Hospital-based role managing cardiothoracic surgery patients
Average 4 hours/day of callbacks including rounding
Adult patient population
Responsibilities include urgent surgical support, post-cath lab cases, and vein harvesting

Support

APP team environment with surgeon backup available
163-bed hospital with established cardiac services
EMR: EPIC
