The Omaha VA Medical Center is seeking a talented Inpatient Acute Care Psychiatrist to join an outstanding multidisciplinary team dedicated to serving America's Veterans. This is an exceptional opportunity for a psychiatrist who is at least five years beyond residency training and is looking to make a lasting impact through clinical excellence, teaching, mentorship, and leadership.

Meaningful Clinical Practice
- Full-time, onsite inpatient psychiatry position
- Provide care within our Acute Psychiatry service and support inpatient and emergency department psychiatric needs
- Manage a patient census of approximately 8 12 patients daily
- Collaborative team-based care model with strong interdisciplinary support
- Shared call schedule of approximately one week per quarter (4 weeks annually)
Academic & Teaching Environment
- Work alongside Psychiatry Residents on both services
- Teach, mentor, and help shape the next generation of psychiatrists
