Opportunity

A Missouri acute-care hospital is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This hospital-based role offers a consistent schedule of approximately 6 days per month with 24-hour call responsibilities.

Schedule

  • 24-hour call, 7 AM 7 AM

  • Hospital rounding

  • Reads

  • Cath procedures

  • Weekend call coverage

  • Vacation coverage

  • Approximately 4 5 hours of rounding per day

  • Minimal callback

Clinical Details

  • Approximately patients/day

  • Patient population ages

  • EPIC EMR

  • Approximately 110-bed hospital

  • Cath procedures

  • TEE

  • Pacemakers

Support Team

  • 1 Interventional Cardiologist

  • 1 General Cardiologist

  • 1 PA

  • 1 NP

Requirements

  • Board Certification required

  • Active Missouri license required; IMLC considered

  • DEA required

  • BLS required

  • ACLS required

  • 3 5 years of experience required

  • Credentialing timeframe: approximately days
