The Opportunity Join a short-term assignment with the enthusiastic and connected team at a practice, located in Baton Rogue, LA. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated and easy-going provider who enjoys working in a collaborative, camaraderie-focused office culture. Additionally, provider is proficient in restorative, extractions, removables and Invisalign. Able to do endo even anterior/pre-molars is a bonus. This position is seeking a provider to assist with exams and emergency visits while maintaining smooth patient flow alongside a supportive and energetic team.
Assignment Details Temp Position - Office going dark
Dates: 10/5/26-12/31/26
Schedule: Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs 8:00 to 5:00 with a hour for lunch. Morning huddle at 7:45 - with the exception of the Thanksgiving & Christmas week (Mon-Tues-Wed)

What You ll Do • Examining patients to determine oral health needs, utilizing x-rays and other diagnostic equipment and procedures • Provide exams and emergency dental care in an outpatient setting • Deliver efficient, patient-focused treatment while maintaining daily workflow • Assist with leading and supervising office team members • Staying productive during both slower and busier teams • Focus on patient experience and support a developing office • Maintain accurate documentation and continuity of care
Requirements • DDS or DMD from an accredited program • Active state dental license • Prior dental experience required • Clinical knowledge to practice comprehensive dentistry, including diagnosis and treatment of oral health issues • Comfortable handling exams and emergency visits in a fast-paced setting
