  • Case Mix: Medium acuity, consistent with emergency medicine
FACILITY INFORMATION
  • EMR System: EPIC
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC as FNP through ANCC or AANP, or PA through NCCPA
  • Licenses: Active Mississippi license, DEA with CSPA
  • DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years Emergency Medicine experience as FNP or PA
  • Other Qualifications: Case logs and CME documentation for past 2 years
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the ED.
  • Evaluate and manage patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
  • Perform emergency procedures as needed (e.g., suturing, splinting).
  • Collaborate with attending physicians and healthcare team.
  • Document patient encounters in EPIC EMR.
