The Moody Outpatient Clinic on the Parkland Campus is searching for a dedicated Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to become a vital part of our growing outpatient practice. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services for adult patients in an outpatient setting.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Deliver care to patients transitioning from hospital discharge to outpatient follow-up.
- Manage patient care plans, preventive health screenings, and chronic disease management.
- Coordinate care with specialists, care managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Participate in phone/beeper call coverage as assigned.
- Support quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and access to care.
- Provide compassionate, culturally competent care to an underserved patient population.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Family Medicine (FP) or Internal Medicine (IM) required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of physician experience required.
- Strong outpatient primary care experience with adult patients.
- Excellent clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication and patient education abilities.
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and continuity of care.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active state medical license required at time of submission.
- Active DEA certification required.
- Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred.
