Job Details:
- Full-time coverage position working 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a 3 to 6 month assignment and possible extension
- Vacation coverage shifts available from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM on an 8-hour schedule, with scheduling discussed with the Chief CRNA
- Float between three facilities in DuBois, Clearfield, and Brookville
- Work under anesthesiologist medical direction at no more than a 4:1 ratio, supported by 4 anesthesiologists per day and 15 to 18 CRNAs per day
- No CRNA call required; occasional late stays may be needed but are not required
- Practice settings include 11 ORs, 2 hospital GI suites, 3 GI suites at a CRNA-led endoscopy center, a bronchoscopy lab, and a cath lab
- Approximately 40 anesthesia cases per day including endoscopy; individual CRNA volume varies by assignment with examples such as 10 to 15 GI cases, 6 to 8 cystoscopies, or 3 to 4 general cases
- Procedures include general, ENT with peds, GYN, OB, plastics, endoscopy, urology, ortho, vascular, cardiothoracic, and neuro; vascular, neuro, and thoracic experience preferred
- OB is optional; opportunity to perform regional blocks and epidurals if desired
- Adult and pediatric cases; pediatric experience preferred but not required
- EMR/charting system: Cerner (experience required)
- Required certifications: NBCRNA, ACLS, and BLS
- Pennsylvania state license required
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience preferred
