Opportunity:Physician - Infectious Disease
Job Details:- Provide inpatient consultations at a major medical center
- Manage outpatient office visits including outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment
- Assist with Antimicrobial Stewardship program
- Assist with infection control activities and hospital epidemiology programs
- Collaborate system-wide with over 20 Infectious Disease physician colleagues
- Provide post-graduate medical education for residents and medical students
- Appointment at the Assistant Professor level at a local university
- No primary care responsibilities
- Active Hospitalist program in place to support inpatient care
- Shared call with other Infectious Disease physicians
- Reports to the Division Director of Infectious Disease
- BC/BE Infectious Disease physician; must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Connecticut
