Emergency Medicine Physician

A health services system in Connecticut is seeking a licensed Emergency Medicine Physician to join their acute care facility in New London County.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Night
• Schedule: Sunday through Saturday
• Hours: 11pm to 9am
• Setting: Emergency Department

Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency medicine care for patients presenting to the emergency department
• Perform standard emergency department procedures as needed
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of acute medical conditions
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers and other physicians to support patient care
• Deliver care during overnight hours, including periods of single coverage

Qualifications:

• CT medical license
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine by ABEM

Desired Skills:

• Experience working in a high-volume emergency department
• Comfort with overnight single-coverage emergency medicine practice
• Familiarity with standard emergency department procedures
