Facility:This hematology and oncology facility is part of a well-established regional health system dedicated to providing comprehensive cancer care services to patients in northwestern Montana. The clinic operates Monday through Friday with a collaborative care team model, pairing advanced practice providers directly with physician support to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Opportunity:Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Medical Oncology / Hematology Oncology
Job Details:- Locum Tenens clinic position running Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break, starting September 28th and ongoing until a permanent position is filled
- Approximately 12 patient encounters per shift
- Patient variety includes on-treatment patients as well as follow-up visits for surveillance and survivorship patients
- Provider will be assigned to a care team alongside a supervising physician/MD
- Taking first call Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM for symptom support and treatment management, with forwarding to MD for consult when needed
- First day will consist of orientation from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime not applicable until after 10 hours
- Active Montana license or IMLC required to be considered
- Board certification required; minimum board certification eligible accepted
- Emergency credentialing available; estimated credentialing timeframe is 120 days
- Long-term housing may be available if needed
- Nearest airport is Glacier International Airport
