Expanding practice seeks an Endocrinologist to work in San Diego, California!

Opportunity to supervise nurses and serve as preceptor for PAs and NPs developing in expanded medical roles

Compensation:

Hourly pay range: $147.61 $200.99/hour, based on experience and qualifications

Job/Practice Description: Endocrinology

Manages and provides acute, chronic, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative medical care
Experience with transitions of care, chronic disease management, and advanced goals-of-care discussions
Inpatient skilled nursing coverage and call coverage as assigned by the Medical Director
Case management of clinic patients admitted to hospitals, with referrals to medical specialties
Consultative services for complex diagnostic or therapeutic problems as requested
Interdisciplinary team care planning
Preferred skills: skin biopsy, excision of skin lesions, suturing, casting, sigmoidoscopy, and phlebotomy
Must obtain staff privileges at local hospitals and nursing homes

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of Medicine
Board Certified or Board Eligible in a primary care specialty
Current CA MD/DO and DEA license
CPR certification
Completion of clinical training
