Looking for one week of coverage per month starting ASAP.
For our transplant nephrology coverage, we would need a nephrologist who either has trained in transplant nephrology or has experience taking care of kidney transplant patients.
Duties would involve taking call for 7 days - Monday 8 am - Monday 8 am. During in-patient call, they will consult on post-kidney transplant patients, write dialysis orders, manage kidney specific needs and also consult on liver patients that need nephrology input.
Clinic coverage is necessary if the candidate is a transplant nephrologist otherwise, we will simply use them for taking the M-M call. They will all receive phone calls from other physicians, ER's, outside hospitals to provide advice on immunosuppression management.
All rates need to be filled out.
OT applies after 40 hours.
If you have any interest, feel free to reach out anytime! I work evenings and weekends.
