Job description

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to help cover shifts at 2 Hospital. Providers with the best availability and an active Massachusetts license will receive priority consideration.
Pittsfield & North Adams, Massachusetts
Position Highlights

Float between 2 Hospital
Immediate Coverage Needed, with strongest need for night shifts
Temporary privileges available for qualified providers
Hotel accommodation reimbursed
APP support on-site
Hospitalist team handles admissions
Flexible shift lengths available

Emergency Department Details
  • Trauma Level: III
  • ED Beds: 32
  • Annual ED Volume: 55,000
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Admission Rate: Approximately 30%
  • Shift Lengths: 8, 11, and 12-hour shifts
  • Codes: Not managed by ED physician
  • Ambulance/Radio Medical Direction: Required
  • Deliveries: Sent directly to Labor & Delivery
  • On-Call Response Time: 30 minutes
Requirements
  • Active Massachusetts Medical License (Highly Preferred)
  • ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)
  • BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications
  • Clean background for expedited credentialing
