The VA Northern California Health Care System is seeking a Fee Basis Gastroenterologist to join our team at the Sacramento VA Medical Center in Mather, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated physician who wants flexibility while serving the nation's Veterans in a modern, well-supported clinical environment.
Position Highlights
Provide outpatient Gastroenterology care, including consults, follow-up visits, and procedure-based care as assigned
Perform general GI procedures such as EGD and colonoscopy
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including GI nurses, APPs, and internal medicine partners
Flexible scheduling based on availability
Support from an established GI program with modern equipment and experienced staff
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Unrestricted medical license (any U.S. state or territory)
Ability to obtain VA privileges and complete credentialing
Prior VA experience helpful but not required
