Job Description:
Northern Light Acadia Hospital is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our inpatient care team in a unique role supporting Adult and Pediatric Inpatient Services. This is a full-time opportunity (32 hours/week) designed for a practitioner who values both collaboration and autonomy within a specialized psychiatric setting. Schedule of Friday and Saturday, 4:00 PM - 8:00 AM, on-site.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
Initiate and manage treatment interventions, including medication management
Provide follow-up evaluations as clinically indicated
Lead and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Collaborate closely with Medical Directors, psychiatrists, other PMHNPs, therapists, and behavioral health technicians
Service as a clinical resource, mentor, and preceptor for inpatient staff
Demonstrate strong clinical judgement, leadership, and teaching skills in a fast-paced environment
Compensation Information:
$99,184.55-$104,798.72 annual base salary.
The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position. The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.
