Physician / Hospitalist / Maine / Permanent / Case Management Physician between Portland and Augusta, Maine Job

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or related field Full-time employed Case Management Physician role Inpatient setting focused on utilization review and care coordination 156 hours per month; approximately 15"16 shifts Majority 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM " 5:00 PM); occasional 12-hour shifts Round on inpatient census of 15"17 patients; max 22 Average 12 patient encounters per day Perform admissions from 7:00 AM " 4:00 PM Collaborate with hospitalists, nursing, and case management teams Support medical necessity reviews and level-of-care determinations Assist with discharge planning and length-of-stay management Competitive compensation with sign-on bonus Comprehensive benefits package including malpractice, CME, retirement, and PTO Located near attractions including Rangeley Lakes region, Sugarloaf Mountain, and Androscoggin Riverlands State Park Approximately 35 miles ( 40 minutes) to Portland and 140 miles ( 2.5 hours) to Boston
