What You ll Do
- Provide comprehensive family medicine care, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive services
- Manage a diverse patient caseload across multiple clinics

- Participate in ongoing training and performance improvement programs
- Contribute to team meetings and health initiatives
- Support military and veteran patient populations in a dynamic healthcare setting
What You Need
Required: - MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school
- Board certification in Family Practice by the American Board of Family Medicine
- Unrestricted medical license, DEA certification, BLS certification
- U.S. citizenship
- At least 1 year of recent family practice experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred: - Experience in military or federal healthcare settings
- Additional certifications in emergency medicine or related fields
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
- Experience in supervising or teaching medical staff
About the Assignment
This full-time role involves working at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and its associated Branch Health and Tricare Prime Clinics. The physician will deliver essential primary care services within a Military Health System environment, serving active duty service members and their families.
